What are my chances; Georgetown Edition

I am a 16 year old girl in my junior year of high school. This winter I will be applying to my most competitive dream school, Georgetown. I plan to apply for their International Studies program, and possibly minoring in either French or Russian.
As of right now, I have a GPA (weighted) of about 3.5. Abysmal, I know. My ACT practice scores are not so hot either, but I still have a chance to raise it, right now I’m at about a 25. Currently I’m taking 2 AP’s, APUSH and AP Lang. My worst grade is in physics, where I got a C.
I’m putting a lot of weight on my extracurriculars. Currently, I have been a Girl Scout for 12 years, and have received my Gold Award. I’ve published a book that is available on Amazon about my community history, that has been featured twice in my city’s newspaper. I’ve volunteered consistently with the Autry museum, a history museum nearby. I’ve also started a French Club at my school, and have done an extra semester of French Pronunciation at my local community college (I got an A). I’ve also taken Latin at my local community college when I was a freshman (I got a B in that class), along with attending a selective Latin Camp during that summer. Next summer I plan on traveling to Siberia to get a job teaching English, and possibly working with a Russian studies professor from a University close by to me.
I’ve read a lot of places that Georgetown is really scores heavy, they like to look at your GPA and ACT scores. I do not succeed in this area obviously, so my question to the world is; is it even worth it applying to GT? Do I put my time elsewhere due to the fact that I will most definitely be rejected? Let me know. Please advise me.

Most people think they will be rejected to many schools but it doesn’t hurt to apply… The cost for app is not a lot compared to what it can lead to. The essays can change everything too.

This raises my hopes a little. Thank you.

Agreed. Your scores aren’t great but your ECs may still give you a chance, especially since they’re language-focused, which SFS seems to like. Just a note: It’s not International Studies. There’s the School of Foreign Service, which has eight separate majors, including International Politics.

Thank you so much for the tip! I’ll keep that in mind. Also my GPA raised a little, I’m now at a whopping 3.6 (lol)
