What Are My Chances Getting into Northwestern University?

Hi all!
I am a junior this year in 4 AP classes and 1 honors class.
Last year, I had a 4.7 Weighted GPA, and 4.0 unweighted. My 2 AP classes were AP Computer Science Principles and AP World History. I got 4’s on both exams.
This year I am in AP Physics, AP US History, AP Lang. and Comp., and AP Computer Science A. I am expecting a 5 on the AP US History and AP Computer Science A exam, but I’m not sure how well I’ll do on AP Physics and AP Lang.
This year, I think I might get a B (possibly both semesters) in AP Physics. Freshman year I had a B in Honors English both semesters, but right now those are the only B’s on my transcript.
I haven’t taken the ACT or SAT yet, but I am hoping for a 32+ on the ACT and 1500+ on the SAT.
Also, for extra curricular activities, Freshman and Sophomore year I was on the soccer and track team, this year I am planning on doing track and am doing FBLA, and next year I will probably do the same as this year.
If I get 2 extra B’s on my transcript, and don’t get 4+ on the AP Physics and AP Lang tests, what are my chances in getting into Northwestern? Have any of you been accepted with similar grades to me? And how are my extra curricular activities to get accepted?
Thanks a lot!

I don’t think the AP tests will bear on your application - just placement once you get into a school. Your course rigor looks good and the grades are fine - Many many students do have a couple of Bs. Your ECs may or may not make a difference, depending on your level of involvement. Top schools (like NU) usually see applicants with deep involvement or something stand makes them stand out (a ‘hook’). But, to be honest, once you get to this level, it all matters what they ‘need’ to create a class. They may be looking for a sax player from Europe, or you may be just the runner they are missing. As I have told my kids, just because you CAN get in to any of these schools doesn’t mean you WILL. And with the talent and motivation you have, wherever you go, you will achieve success. Good luck!
