Thanks a lot!

with a high gpa and a high sat im sure u can get in… and get some more ec’s if possible. it won’t hurt

Well, there’s a bit of information missing here that would help us considerably…

Different schools weigh GPA’s differently. How does your school calculate your GPA? Just giving us the letter grades really isn’t enough.

I would hate to say that admissions are based on test scores, but we need at least some indicator of how well you do on the SAT or ACT.

Until you can provide us with that, all I can say is you need way more A’s. It is almost impossible for a B student to get into schools such as NYU and Cornell.

Your GPA is fine for Berklee, but they don’t consider SATs at all. The most important factor there is your musical audition - as it is at many/most colleges and conservatories, should you decide to study music.

Sophomore year is way too early to be “chance-ing.” It’s pretty likely your interest in schools will change between now and the end of your Junior year, and you’ll have a better idea of what you’re looking for in a school. Also, it’s really hard to chance someone based on stats from the first half of high school, anything could happen between now and then!
I also think you shouldn’t be asking “what are the best colleges I can get into?” but instead “what are the best colleges for me?”
