<p>I am currently a junior. Accumulatively i have a 4.2, but this semester i got a C in ap english and two B's in apush and ap chemistry, but the rest are A's. How will this affect me into getting in to UC's. So far i have done academic decathlon, Varsity Captain in volleyball, Vice president in a club, Founder of a club, Founder of a community service, hospital community service, and i am in programs called HOLA, Usc trio upward bound, and UCLA EOP.</p>
<p>What’s your UC GPA? I think the guides at UCLA told me that they recalculate according to their scale. I don’t know what scale your school uses, so I don’t know how good a 4.2 is in the context of your school.</p>
<p>Still, you have a decent list of grades and ECs. I’d be surprised if you didn’t get into a single UC, but it’d be easier to go to a UC like Irvine or San Diego than to go to Berkeley or Los Angeles. There’s nothing wrong with the other UCs, but the competitiveness for admission varies tremendously among the schools.</p>
