I recently got deferred after applying early action to the school, so I was hoping someone could give me insight on my chances for regular decision. I am an out of state applicant, and have a cumulative GPA of a 4.1 but due to a strong first semester will go up to at least a 4.2. My SAT score is a 1360. Extracurriculars: did gymnastics for 13 years, diving for 2, president of a mentoring club, community service club, red cross club nanny after school, used to be a cashier, and have been involved in a special olympics coaching organization for five years. Essays are pretty strong. Not sure where I fall in the applicant pool.
To be clear, Im only president of mentoring club, just a member of community service and red cross
I have also attended one of their open houses, introduced myself to the admissions counselor expressing my great interest, and exchanged emails (one saying thank you for open house, one saying thank you for continuing my application into regular pool)
