I'm currently in India doing my A level (CIE board). I was born in NC and lived there for 3 years. My SAT score in my first attempt is a low 1750 and I plan to take it again next month. My supplementary essay is very good. I've done an internship in a school for children who a mentally challenged for a month (I plan to major in psychology). I also have other ECs like volunteering for a NGO. What are my chances of getting into UNC Chapel hill? Also what score should I aim at in my next attempt. Also, my AS level grades are A,A and B and I topped the school in a subject. Thanks :)

Do you need FA?

@paul2752 yup I do

Then no. UNC has no FA for int kids and your stats are too low for scholarship

I’m not an int student I’m an American citizen @paul2752. What score do I need for admission?

Did you spend your whole HS in india? You will be still considered as int student for admission but a citizen for FA.
even so your score is way too low for UNC. Probably 2200 will make you competitive enoigh

if you can claim NC residence it will help your chances, but even then it’s not likely unless you really increase that SAT
