Note: My School is extremely sub par in nationally and even state ranking. The vast majority of the clubs (Robotics, Coding, physics) and competitions were started by me and my friends during my years.

Congratulations on the class ranking! Whether or not your school is sub par doesn’t matter a whole lot, that #2 is going to look pretty good on any transcript.

I’m no expert, but I’d assume your safe for Upenn and everything from Illinois Urbana-Champaign to East Stroudsburg. Everything else is probably a reach school for you.

I’d suggest working really hard on your essay. Tons of salutatorians already attend the Harvard’s and Yale’s and Stanford’s of the world so your going to have to make yourself stand out.

Good luck!

What are your subject test and AP scores? Why is there such a big difference between your weighted and unweighted gpa? Normally, an unweighted gpa of 3.64 would not cause one to be second in their class.

How many times did you take the SAT and did you ever try the ACT? Stanford will want to see all your scores and Yale will want all of your scores of whichever test you submit.

Have you run the calculators for the non-lottery schools you applied to (Illinois to ESU)?

Are they affordable?

It will be tough for anything above Illinois-Urbana Champaign due to your low SAT. Maybe look to retake it, or try the ACT.
