What are my chances of getting into Michigan State University? I am Class Valedictorian and President, I have a 3.6 G.P.A and an 18 ACT score, a lot of volunteer hours and experience, I'm apart of many clubs at school, and I have taken four college classes so far and received all A's and a B.

Your GPA is fine for MSU, but your ACT score is too low. Even MSU has a pretty high acceptance rate, it may be a reach for you. Bring your score up to around 24+ for a better chance. The mid 50 is 23-28.

If you’re valedictorian, I believe that’s enough to get you into Michigan State, even with your ACT score. However, to be safe, bring it up to at least a 21. Then you’re in for sure.

MSU: Aim for 21+/1550+

Thanks for all of the advice everyone. I appreciate it.
