I’m currently a junior taking 3 AP classes(biology, physics, US History) and will be taking 3 AP classes next year(calculus statistics and chemistry)
My GPA is a 4.5
I haven’t taken the SATs yet but I’ve been scoring around 1170 for the practice tests(I am working on improving to at least a 1250)
Would I be able to get into the northeastern pharmacy program?? I really want to go to a 6 year pharmd program in MA and I heard that MCPHS is a horrible school.
If someone here is currently in this program could u tell me what your GPA and SAT scores were. Thank you
For perspective my daughter applied to the 6 year PharmD at Notheastern and was deferred. She has taken 8 AP courses, has an SAT of 1480 and an unweighted GPA of 3.9 (weighted 4.45.) She is also a Northeastern legacy. She was admitted to the Pharmacy programs at Pitt and Michigan. Northeastern was very difficult to predict this year.
I’m currently a high school senior and was accepted to Northeastern’s 6 year pharmacy program. My GPA is around a 4.75 (weighted) and SAT score was a 1530. Your GPA looks solid but the SAT score could use more work. Try your best to study as much as you can or take a prep course. Northeastern is becoming an increasingly competitive school and the acceptance rate dropped from 28% to 19% this year. Best of luck!
I just wanted to update my current information:
I was able to bring up my SAT score to a 1430 and my GPA is now a 4.55 but I feel like it’s still a stretch to be accepted to Northeastern’s pharmacy program.
