Hey guys,
I am currently a rising college sophomore looking to send out an application to richmond for the spring 2017 semester. I finished my freshman year with exactly a 3.5 gpa. My high school grades are a bit lower then this (3.3 freshman, sophmore, junior and a 3.0 senior year) but I have done plentiful extracurriculars both in my high school years and my freshman year at college. my sat score for CR/Math is a 1160 but I don’t think I am going to send that lower score in. I am extremely active in campus ministry at my college, I drive the vans to get students to community service at off campus locations and also am employed as a student worker for them. During my freshman year of college I was also a part of our schools business and management club, residence hall committee, and have voulenteered at several on campus events. What are my chances of being accepted to richmond as a spring transfer student? Should I stick out another full year to try and bring my grades up more? Or should I apply as a spring applicant being that I hear it is typically slightly easier to get in as a spring transfer student. Thanks for all of your help.
