<p>Hi everyone! This is my first time ever posting. </p>
<p>Georgetown right now is my top choice school, and I am planning to apply Early Action. I am planning to major in Global Health if I get into the school of Nursing and Health Studies. I would like to see what you guys think my chances are, and any advice for me! Thanks everyone. Please be completely honest. </p>

<p>GPA: 3.96 (unweighted)
Rank: 4/468 - determined by a weighted GPA on a 6.0 scale</p>

Writing- 700
Math- 690
Reading - 650
Composite - 2040
- I am planning to taking my SAT again in October. With the studying I have been doing, I am planning to hit the 2250. Hopefully (:</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
- Student Council: Senior Class President and Vice President of District 13 (The Houston and Galveston Area). I have been involved for three years, serving as the Student Body Reporter last year.
-President of Venture Crew 140
-Founder of the World Affairs Forum at my school
-Member of the Fort Bend Leadership 101 and now, 102
-National Honor Society
-Kick Off Mentor - 3rd Year
-Former member of the Academic Decathlon Team, Managing Editor of the Yearbook, and starting libero for the volleyball team</p>
<p>"Non-Official" activities/ volunteering:
- shadowing with doctors and global health managers at Baylor College of Medicine, M.D. Anderson, Memorial Herman, and Texas Children Hospital
- will begin volunteer/internship at Memorial Herman in Sugar Land
- am currently planning the first International Festival in my community with one other students and have the support of sponsors
- am currently planning the first Color 5K at my school - proceeds with go to UNICEF
-twice a week, I go to tutor at a nonprofit organization called Bethel Ministries. I tutor elementary school students of economically disadvantaged families. I love the kids (:
- I attend events put on by the World Affairs Council of Houston - most recent forums was led by the Global Health Project Manager at M.D. Anderson
-On my own, I have read many, many texts and watched documentaries over tropical medicine, eradication, WHO publications, economic, patient capitalism, public health care, international relations, and more. </p>
