Lafayette is my top choice, but I hear back so late and can't stop worrying about whether or not I'll get in! Here are my stats (please bear with me):
GPA: 3.8, WGPA: 4.3
SAT: M--660, CR--680, W--750
Sports: Varsity cross country; JV track and field; semi-professional Israeli dance troupe (Lafayette's Hillel said they are interested in Israeli dancing!)
EC: BBYO, a completely teen-lead Jewish youth group. I have held several leadership positions, planned many programs, and been active since 8th grade. We focus on social action, community service, Jewish heritage, creativity, etc.
Community Service: I participate in Relay for Life every year since 8th grade, and was team captain one year. I've done community service in Israel, including volunteering at an Ethiopian absorption center, working at a soup kitchen, picking onions for families in need. I will have at least 260 Student Service Learning hours by the time I graduate.
AP's: NSL Government, Calculus A/B, Language & Composition, Psychology (got a 5 all on four exams). Taking Literature and Statistics this year.
Other: I traveled with my youth group to Italy, Slovenia, and Israel this summer. I volunteered and learned about my heritage. **This is what I wrote my essay about.
Intended Major: undecided, but interested in social sciences.

Thanks so much if you stuck it out til the end and read all that! Let me know what you think my chances are :)
