I am a current junior at a semi-private school that focuses on STEM areas. I have not taken the SAT or the ACT. I think my unweighted GPA is at a 3.5 or 3.6 (I’m not sure I have gotten 4 different ones in the past month the lowest being 3.4).
For extracurricular activities, I am president/co-founder of Spanish Honors Society and President/Founder of National English Honors Society as well as being chairmen for my Student Government for two years. I have taken AP classes as well as college classes since Freshman year and plan on bringing my GPA up by attending college full time senior year.
So what are my chances?
You’ve definitely gotta get that GPA up; your current GPA does not make you a very competitive applicant, so unless you have some amazing hooks/impact with your ECs, your chances aren’t very high
I don’t think you can raise your GPA enough to even be average at UPenn. Plus without SAT or ACT scores, no one can possibly tell you if you have a chance.
