Should I even bother applying?

How many volunteer hours do you have?

about 20...not a lot, i know...

I would definitely apply if I were you, your stats sound very similar to mine except my extracurriculars were all for 4 years and I earned a bunch of awards, but your test scores and GPA are higher than mine. Also, you are a first-generation student so I think that should help as well. Definitely apply, I bet you'll get in! =)

And by the way, that is AWESOME that you do synchro! I did it for a few years around when I was 12 along with swim team and I LOVED it!

yeah your stats sound alot like mine except that i had little bit higher sat II scores and more extra curricular activities.
i think u have very high chance of getting in. ur stat looks very similar if not better to alot of people in oxy.
