Barnard has been my dream college since I was a little girl, and now I am not sure if I will get in. I had rough sophomore year, and my GPA was lowered to 3.8 weighted. My junior year I got 4.0 and then my GPA was at 3.9-4.0. I have run a seriously taken feminism club at my school for two years. I had an internship at Planned Parenthood my sophomore year, but quit junior year because I wanted to focus on my grades. I have a leadership role in band and I play tennis. My SAT scores are 1290 and ACT 29. What are my chances with my extracurriculars, grades, and scores of getting in?
I would apply ED as well.

I think you need to retake your SATs and ACT a couple of times. Note, Barnard may “superscore,” if so, it might not be that hard to get your scores closer to the median for Barnard. Obviously anyone applying to top ranked LACs should have a raft of colleges to apply to, as admission rates are low. I would recommend you make a list of about 10 colleges to apply to, with Barnard as a sort low reach, and fill out the bulk of the list with schools like Barnard that are a little easier to get into.
