Do I have a good chance at Barrett? Please help!

I am interested in ASU if I were to be accepted to Barrett, but because of taking challenging courses and slacking very hard my grades are mediocre.
My GPA is currently around a 3.36 unweighted, 3.61 weighted.
My New SAT is a 1400 (710 math 690 reading)
I’m a junior, I’ve taken AP Enviro, AP Euro, APUSH, all with B+'s as well as numerous honors courses.
I am a PA resident and my major would be in the social studies department (history, international studies or relations, etc)
Can anyone please let me know what they think my chances are for Barrett? Should I look to supplement with the ACT to improve my chances and nullify my low unweighted GPA?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

A high SAT/ACT score would prove helpful, as the average incoming freshman student has around a 3.8 gpa. But I know admitted students with lower GPAs and higher test scores. 1300 old SAT /29 ACT were the average test scores. The new SAT of course changes the average.

Hey there! I am going to be attending ASU this Fall and I will also be in Barrett!!

I believe the average GPA for students in Barrett is 3.8, and the ACT score is 29 I don’t know about the new SAT stats, though.

So if you can get your GPA up, that wouldn’t hurt, no mattter if i’ts for Barrett or not.
When I applied, I only had a 3.6 weighted and a 3.8 unweighted, and my ACT score was, well, wayy below that lol,

BUT:
-What about your potential letters of reccomendation? Letters of reccomendatio will be required if you apply.
For me, I had amazing teachers who wrote me strong letters of reccomendation, so I truly believe that helped!

-This one is a no brainer, but obviously your essay. Make it as best as you can! I’m sure the topic of the essay may change, but the essay topic when I applied was which intellectual virtue I had, and how I apply it in my life.

I am honestly suprised I got into Barrett. My stats in no way met what just alone what the “average” applicant had and so I thought I had no chance.

I would say do your best to acheive a higher GPA, and obviously good test scores will help! Good luck! Feel free to message me if you ever have any other questions!

Barrett is awesome, you will both love it. Congrats!
