i am a senior this year and here is what i have done

last year i took the only ap offered at my school american history and got a four on the ap exam
this year i am taking all of the aps offered at my school which include biology, us government, calculus, and english
i also took a spanish university course through my school my junior year and am taking another one this year

i have a 4.02 GPA unweighted
my school does not rank or weight GPAs

i received a 1350 combined out of 1600 on my sats

i play varsity level lacrosse and soccer

i am a writing and math tutor in my school

i am a member of national honors society

i take part in many community service activities including:
a member of junior ladies of charity and an officer for my school
i am the youngest female volunteer ski partoller
and i volunteer at a free medical clinic in the poor inner city where i live
also a member of math SADD, math club, art for the heart, pep club
i have preformed over 500+ hours of community service

i am applying early action this fall

also my sister currently attends Boston College and is in the honors course, is the head of their volunteer program, is pre-med, and is 21st in her class

For Boston College, isn't the only option to submit either the ACT w/writing or SAT I + 2 SAT II's? I'm applying to Boston College as well this year and that's what I thought. Anyways, hopefully you get in and good luck!

I'd say you have pretty fair chances, but I offer one piece of advice:

Be VERY careful how you go about talking about your disability. You do not want to use it as a selling point or an excuse for w/e shortcomings your application has. Depending on how you throw in this little tidbit really could swing an acceptance to a rejection or visa-versa.

i am using it more in the sense that i am very determined today many people dont even know that i have dyslexia through my hard work and determination i was able to overcome it and succeed and today i have a 4.02 GPA with taking all aps and having dyslexia
i dont plan on using it has an excuse for anything on my app though but thats why im asking because i know it could swing me either way
thanks so much for your suggestions and thoughts
anyone else? any ideas?

Being editor in chief of a school paper goes a long way, and if you can play sports for BC, even better. Your grades and test scores should be enough to push you over the edge if you're applying EA. I had a buddy with a pretty similar resume who got in last year. I'd peg you at about 80% chance.

well, since your school only offered that ap course, then BC should understand...they may ask to see how the curriculum works there just to get a view of it. other than that, you seem to have plenty of ecs, volunteer work, and the grades, so your chance is definitely more than half.
