<p>Hi, I'm applying to Dartmouth Early Decision. Any idea what my chances might be?</p>
<p>I go to a well known high school in India. (I am an american citizen though. so I'm a domestic applicant. )
10th grade= 91% (A+)
11th grade=68% (A)
ACT= 32
SAT=1900 ( I'll probably give it again)
I'll also be taking physics, chem, and math ll subj tests, and a AP algebra test</p>
<p>Intended major: Applied Math</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
(We dont have clubs or teams in my school but i did participate in many competitions and have placed in the first 5 of them.)

Calligraphy
Horseback riding
Tutoring a 10th grader and an 8th grader in math and english
My drawings were exhibited in my school's art fair
I have also started writing a book which will probably get finished in 3-4 months</p>

as i said i have placed many times in debate, etc
will i need to show the college the certificates?</p>

my arm and leg are paralyzed. this does not affect my academically in any way. will i have to mention this to the college? should i?</p>
<p>I'm spending a lot of time on my essay .It's about how I overcame my fear of public speaking and found a new interest through debate.</p>
<p>My 2 teacher recs and peer evaluation are going to be superb.</p>

<p>You are 400 SAT points away from where you world need to be.
At this point I would not throw my one ED option away on a near certain rejection. </p>
<p>I don’t understand people who say you need a 2300+ to be competitive. It’s more like you need a 2200+ to be competitive (unless you’re a URM then its 2100+).</p>
