<p>Most everything else honors classes except my freshman year and beginning language classes. I'm up to Spanish 4.</p>
<p>Beta Club, National Honor Society, Math Team, Academics Team which went to state, Spanish Club, Student Council, Tutoring, Marshalled at graduation this year, Cross Country.</p>
<p>I haven't gotten my AP test scores back yet but probably some 3's and 4's maybe one 5.</p>
<p>I think PBoland's dog must've just died - I think you've definitely got a shot. If you retake the SAT and get your lower scores up to around 700+, you'll have an even better chance. AND if you're in-state, even better!</p>
<p>Based on this year's results, you have an excellent chance even with your SAT's.....According to Emory Wheel, acceptance rate for all minorities was much higher than the overall pool......and being from Georgia will give you a decent bump.....just make sure you show interest.....</p>
<p>Yea ive visited the campus already. very nice! and ive been requesting information a lot because i hear they like it when people are excited about emory.</p>
<p>should i also say that my school is in a kinda rural/ small city setting. we send a couple students to ivy league schools every couple years i would say, so not that competitive. Last year we had one guy go to davidson and someone else get a full-ride to furman/ ga tech.</p>
<p>With great recs and essays you have a really good shot. I think your SAT's are in range. If I were you I would focus more on becoming more involved in ec's than your SAT unless you can imporve your score by at least 50 points cum. speaking.</p>
