Hey there. I'm a highschool senior crossing my fingers to get into FSU.
My GPA has been a pretty steady 4.0 (unweighted) throughout highschool. It dropped to about a 3.8-3.9 (unweighted) when I stacked on more APs my junior year.
I took one AP my freshmen year, two soph (passed both), two junior year (passed one, already passed the other the previous year), and I'm taking three my senior year. My weighted GPA is near 5.0 I believe. I have gotten some mail from Harvard (they emailed me to apply there), Stanford, and other Ivy Leagues, but I want to stay near home for now. I volunteer at a local nature center and I'm aiming for 80 hours this year. I've only taken my ACT once when I was sick and still made a 27. I'm going to take the SAT soon. I'm also Hispanic, if that helps my chances at all. Any ideas as to what are my chances are?

Are you in Florida? If so, you are likely in FSU with your GPA despite your lower ACT score.

Why do you think Harvard, Stanford and some other Ivy schools sent you mail? It’s not because of your fantastic ACT score. They want your application fee.
