What are my chances of getting into Georgetown University?

Hi,

I am a high school senior in a competitive suburban high school at Atlanta, Georgia. I am also an Asian male, and my parents and I are middle class citizens. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.5 UW
ACT: 36 (Super scored)
SAT II: Math II (800) and Biology M (790)
AP: 9 AP (taking 3 senior year)
AP Exam Score: 3 5’s, 2 4’s, and 1 3

Extracurriculars: National Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society (Vice President), Programming Club, Junior MD (Vice President), Top School Band, Varsity Tennis Team (Captain), and other school organizations

Awards: Honorable Mention for Toshiba ExploraVision

Volunteering/Job Experience: Shadowed MD, Worked at Dialysis Clinic, Shadowed MD/PhD student, Interned at Clinic, Worked at Subway, and currently collaborating with Vascular Surgeon on a Project

I say you have a good chance of getting in, but I would work to raise your GPA a bit. Also, make sure to do well on all three essays and get recommendations from teachers who really know you!

Prepscholar has you at a 17% chance of admissions. It’s certainly possible, but it’s a big reach. That would go for anyone who applies there. Right now, you have a decent shot at GA Tech, and you’re more or less a lock for UGA.

Class of 2022 here! Last year, the acceptance was 14.5%. Do you know which school in Georgetown you’re interested in? I’m in the college and would be willing to talk if you need help.

I am currently looking to apply for Georgetown College, and my plan for the future is to get into Georgetown School

My plan for the future is to get into Georgetown School of Medicine through EPA

Hi, I’m applying EA to SFS. Would you mind taking a look at my essay?
