What are my chances of getting into Ivy or Great college?

I am a freshman in High School as of right now. I know it is a little early to join this forum. I am just asking for your opinion. Here it goes:
Im a freshman and so far these are my stats for this year.

English 9 - A
World History/Geog Honors - A
Algebra 2/Trig Honors - A
Biology Honors - A
Computer Graphics 1 - A
Spanish 2 - A

Clubs/Activities:
• Basketball
• Football
• Model U.N
• young democrats
• Technology Students Association (TSA)
• National Business Honor Society
• National Honor Society

Some stuff I plan on doing and others I am in or signed up. Will this look good on a resume? I am really shooting for an Ivy League School or top school. I am African American if that matters. I do enjoy these activities, not doing this for resume padding. Thanks :)

It’s impossible to chance someone with neither test scores nor sophomore- and junior-year grades.

Okay well so far and if I continue this trend and score well on Act and SAT

If you’re a freshman, you started, what a few weeks ago? Stop worrying, you seem to be on the right track. I suggest you log out of this forum and avoid reading it until you’re a junior or senior because a lot of posters will make you feel horrible with their amazing (and possibly fake) stats. Just do your best in class and continue doing what you love.

Will do. Yeah I think I joined this forum a little early too.

Oh god

You have four full years of high school in front of you. College is four years long too. Are you going to spend four years stressing yourself out, only to MAYBE get into a name brand school for the NEXT four years? Life doesn’t start when you graduate high school, it’s going on right now. Make it fun, relax, have fun, and hope for the best. If you don’t get into an ivy, guess what? All that happens is you don’t get to tell people that you got into an ivy. That’s the worst case scenario. You make your life great, not the name of the school you’re at. Lots of top schools (like Stanford and the UCs) don’t even count your freshman grades.

So leave CC until you need it for test prep, it’ll only do you harm. Enjoy your life, get good grades and do your best in activities that you LOVE, and come back when you really need help. Don’t spend your time on prestigious college decisions thread, don’t start/join a million unrelated clubs, don’t freak out if you get an A-. Just do your best, make friends, chill, and find something you love.

Good luck with your life!!!

Great advice…relax and have fun? I guess those A’s will just make themselves. All I asked was a chance if I continue this trend and score well on SAT’s ACT I only joined to ask a question. I dont even want to be on a forum that consists of 18+ year olds im too young. I will come back in 2-3 years

Haha yes, relax and have fun. I make straight As and A+s as a senior in APs and I have tons of fun, I love my life. If you’re genuinely interested in what you’re learning, the As will indeed make themselves, as long as you keep up with homework. What trend? You’ve been in school for a week
