What are my chances of getting into MIT, Stanford, Cornell, UPenn, Princeton, and Johns Hopkins?

I am a senior in NYC now, applying to these schools among others.

Intended Major: Civil & Environmental Engineering OR Secondary Education High School History Teacher

-SAT Total Score OUT OF 2400- 1380 (Super Scored already)

Critical Reading-450, Math-400, and Writing-530

-Subject Tests
World History-440 Math I-410 Chemistry-380

-ACT Composite Score: 17

-GPA: 86.72%(out of 100%)
Ranked 29 out of 341

-AP Exams:
AP Chemistry-1 (that's a REALLY long story) AP European History-3
I'm currently taking AP Biology

I had AP U.S. History & AP English Literature but both classes were canceled because the teacher left and the latter class had half the lethargic students drop out in the middle of the summer.

So i'll only have 3 APs (APs in my school are double period) under my belt when I graduate.

Extracurriculars- Working after school at Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education (help elementary school kids with HW)

Community Service- Volunteered at my job for the summer then was hired for pay.

AND I KNOW!!!! My SAT & ACTs SUCKKKKKKKK but I have a really strong work ethic and good grades top 10% of my class (look at the ranking, it shows u how stupid everyone a my school is).

BUT don't Ivy's look at other components like Teacher Recs? GPA? APs? not just SAT & ACT?

I know all f u will say HELL NOOOOOO to my STUPID Q but i have to KNOW THAT COMMUNITY COLLEGES ARE NOT MY ONLY OPTIONS.

Are Ivy's, Big State schools, and even some target schools really focusing on the SAT & ACT ONLY???????

I though colleges wanted Diversity? I'm Hispanic-American from DR so is MIT only looking for ROBOTS??????

AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH JUST BECAUSE A TEST INDICATES THAT????? SAT (APTITUDE)....

Thanks for the HARSH & SYMPATHETIC advice in advance :)

personally i feel u should give ur SATs/ACT again and get a good score  :)>-

I don’t mean to be harsh, but i feel that your test scores are definitely low, as you probably know already, but your gpa is also actually a bit low for these schools. These 2 are perhaps the biggest factors, and even then, i feel that you could have probably done a lot more in your extra curriculur area to bulk up some of the fore-mentioned weakpoints. Even if you had everything perfect, it would be a reach just because they are hard schools to get into. as for now, i feel that you should look at something else, like a state school. however, there are some top notch colleges, such as wake forest, which dont require standardized testing scores. if you feel that you would like alternatives like that, then you should definitely apply there.

The schools start off with looking at test scores because you have to be able to do the work at college levels so the scores are very important. All high schools are different and there is no way to compare the students unless they look at what you can do on a test. Yes the schools like diversity, but you have to be able to do the work and not fall behind.
