I am so worried that I won't be accepted at Salisbury university, which is my dream school. My gpa is really bad; it is 2.8 unweighted. I am taking honors English 12 and honors US history this year. My SAT scores were 590 in reading, 440 in math, and 560 in writing. I applied through early action at SU and got deferred. So now I am nervously waiting for a regular admission reply. Do you think I will get accepted?

Oh, and I also forgot to say that I am involved in varsity sailing team and cross country. I have written articles for teen ink and have been involved in various community service activities.

If you could take the sat again and get that math score into the 500s you would have a solid sat score for them. You gpa is gonna hurt you chances but as long as your courses are hard they might over look it. Make sure you right great essays and have very good recs and you definitely have a chance at Salisbury. Goodluck

Thanks I hope I get in

Unlikely: very low sat and gpa
but eh, possible
