I am currently a freshman at a university and I am trying to transfer to the Newhouse program at Syracuse University for this spring. I completed the common app and all other materials. I had a weak GPA in hs (3.0), and a 24 on my ACT. However, representatives from Syracuse and Newhouse told me that my admissions decision is based heavily on my MID-SEMESTER grades which I will send them once all my midterms are completed. My current GPA in college is a 3.7, a big difference from hs. I also have an interview at cuse in a few weeks.

Chances? Please help! It would be greatly appreciated
