I'm a sophomore in high school and I've constantly been thinking about what I want to do in college. One of my main options is majoring in Film/TV since I've had a passion for watching and making movies ever since I was a kid.

Anyway, here are some of my stats:
I'm in all honors classes and my gpa is a 3.58, which I plan on raising to at least a 3.6 by the end of junior year. My class rank is 80/510. Next year I plan on taking AP English language, AP Environmental, and possibly AP Euro history. As far as extracurricular stuff, I run track and I did soccer freshman year. Also, I take a TV Production class and both my film teachers and classmates seem to actually really like the videos I make. Then, I still haven't taken my SAT's and I know that that's a huge factor in determining whether I make it or not.

Besides all the academic stuff, I know that there's the creative portfolio. I guess the best way to improve on that is to just keep writing and making videos.

I've also just been thinking about going to a state school and just majoring in English and then taking my chances at getting into the graduate program. Going to a state school is mainly an option because I highly doubt my parents can afford to send me to Tisch in the first place.

Any additional advice would be appreciated, thanks!
