Extracurriculars:
- I am a member in a club that volunteers at a pet shelter.
- I went to the Philippines to participate in an outreach to help an elementary school there. My family donated school supplies and staple foods, while my personal contribution was collecting homemade letters, stickers, and inspiring phrases from family and friends to include in their care packages.
- I am the co-leader of a text-based mmorpg, where I get to create quests, handle the players’ inventory, and take on the role of a monster during a boss fight.
Hobbies:
- I like to create art and cook.
My first, knee jerk reaction, was if you can’t get into SFSU than Californians everywhere are in trouble. But look at the common data set. Your math SAT is in the top 10% of enrolled students. Your verbal is in the top 1/3rd. It looks like your GPA is around the top 10% as well. Given that there admission rate for first year women is around 70%, I think you have a good chance. However, you didn’t include a major. SFSU, like most CSUs, is impacted. What major are you considering?
Thank you so much for replying! And I’m considering majoring in Communications while minoring in Holistic Health. On the side note, would that work for a career as a holistic health practitioner or a health coach? If it doesn’t work, then Nutrition Sciences.
