<p>My background:</p>

<p>I'm hispanic</p>

<p>i had a very tough upbringing. I have had to change schools every six months for the past 8 years. I have 7 different schools on my transcript. My gpa is trending upwards starting from a 3.8 and going up to a 4.0 junior year (the first year that i had home stability).</p>

Are you taking a gap year.</p>

<p>There is nothing in your ECs that match what your interest in CS is.</p>

<p>Are you good enough to be considered a recruit for basketball? If so your definitely in. If not then you still have a pretty good chance.

<p>Your EC’s are underwhelming except for the ACT Prep class, but your test scores and academics look fantastic. Maybe your minority status and life story will make up for your lack of EC’s, but with a 5.1%acceptance rate, the chances of getting accepted into Stanford are not good for anyone. It’s really just a crap shoot, but IMHO, I think you have ~40% chance of being accepted. Make sure your essay, recommendations, and interview are good.</p>
