What are my chances of getting into stanford?

I’m a junior and as of now I have a 3.25 gpa (unweighted because I go to a terrible school that doesn’t have any ap/ib/honors classes) and I’m the capitain of the varsity mock trial team and I have been the capitain since freshman year I’m also in student council ,(I’m on track to become the president) and the reason my gpa is so low is because i got dignosed with adhd during the spring break of my sophmore year and I’ve really struggled with it but right after i got dignosed I GOT TO WORKKKK. I tried to fix my sadddddddddd 2.3 gpa I also went and self studied for like 7 ap exams for classes that were WAYYY above me. I’ve always had a drive for learning and the only reason I didn’t have a 4.0 is because I never turned in my homework or big projects or essays basically anything that required me to sit and try to work in a non-learning enviorment. I worked on a campain for a mentor of mine that was running for a seat in a school board I volenteered at a non-profit that helped women, I went to mock trial camp, I became a junior entrepreneur and I worked at a senior home during the summer. I’m also from a low-income household SOOOO how likely am I to get in

omg i almost forgot i have a 36 act score too

I’m just realizing how messy this is sorry for not proof-reading

Possible, but very, very unlikely. (Well, it’s unlikely for nearly everyone.)

A low GPA is a red flag… and if any of your writers of LOR mention that you don’t follow through on homework, projects and essays, well, the admissions committee is going to question whether you will have the ability to do the coursework. Not turning in homework, essays, and projects is not just a minor thing… and college grades tend to be based on a relatively small number of assignments, so not completing even one can do major damage to a course grade.

All of this will be exacerbated by the very fast pace of the quarter schedule… there is little time to recover.

Stanford does not seem like a good fit for you. You might be better off in a smaller, less competitive liberal arts college environment.

@audacious1 : Very low chance judging by your initial post in this thread. Disorganized, inconsistent, poorly written & adds a very significant factor as an afterthought.

Thanks guys, I’ve gotten back on track since starting therapy and I haven’t missed an assignment. My LOR teachers that I’ve already asked are my friends (that were my teachers throughout high school) and I’ve seen a rough draft of all 4 and they’re all about how well I would do and how much I love to learn. I appreciate how honest you guys were nevertheless!
