I finalized my application a few weeks ago. And submitted it, but I haven’t gotten like a username or password from them to check my status online. Should I be concerned about that?

Thats because they don’t have a portal for you to check your app status. They just email you if you are missing any documents or not.

Oh then I’m silly, I did receive that e-mail about missing supplements a while back but I submitted the supplements for sure. I could of sworn I read other students saying they received an username and password from UB.

Really? I called in buffalo and they said they don’t have a portal for you to check. If they did, they should have send it to me awhile ago. I sent in my app like a month ago and had everything in a month ago.

What major are you applying to? I chose pharmacy which I’m pretty sure is super competitive.

I applied to the school of engineering for chemical engineering lol. I know hard major too.

OMG, u got a some idea as mine. EOP should not base on GPA, but SAT score and low income.

I believe it should be that way because if you are low income, you may not have the money to prepare for the exam (for the most part). GPA can be used to show that you have the potential to succeed(hardworking). :)

agree, for the sat class it cost a lot. low income family can not afford the sat prepare class. it is the reason why those kids can not get high score on the sat. however, high school is free for everyone.
