Hey, I'm just really curious about how my chances are.

2.88 GPA (horrible, I know, but VERY competitive High School, 3 students from my school last year got in with 31-3.3 GPA's and worse test scores)
28 ACT
2020 SAT
3 years varsity wrestling, team captain
Eagle Scout
Treasurer and Co-founder of a legal, active non-profit organization.
My brother is a current freshman there (Legacy?)

Anyone know the chances?

Also, what does "match" mean? People respond with just "match" sometimes.

Your scores are fairly high for TCU. Obviously your GPA is very bad. I have a couple suggestions. 1) Put a lot of effort into your essays and the creative page thing (I’m not sure what it’s called, you should know what I’m talking about). 2) If there is a specific reason why your GPA is so low, you could possibly get one of your recommenders to address it in his/her letter.

I have a fairly good essay I think, and I think I did a great job on the creative page. I fit 6 pictures in w/ descriptions of me doing things like wrestling, traveling, boy scouts, with my brother (at TCU) and sister, things like that. Also, do you think going and getting an interview would help? because I’m trying to go down to visit soon and I need any help I can get.

You should send me a picture of what you did for that! I have no idea what I’m going to do. If you interview well, then I think that could definitely help you!
