What are my chances of getting into the Rutgers Pharmacy School?

Currently going to become a junior in September. So far, in my freshmen and sophomore years, I consistently have A’s as my final averages, a few A-'s here and there. I was in science club for 2 years, being vice president for the 2nd year. Joined badminton club in sophomore year. I volunteered at a science museum for about 180 hours and volunteered at some farmers market for a day or 2. I’m going to try and volunteer at a hospital…I took one AP class so far…Oh also, all my classes are considered honor classes.

AP Bio but got a 3 on my exam
Got 720 on my Bio SAT

I plan to make up for it by trying to aim for a 4 or 5 in AP Chem and at least 750+ on the SAT Chem Subject test. I’ll also be taking AP Physics and AP Language this year as well. What should I get on the SATs and ACTs to pass as well? How do AP Scores work for Rutgers?

Btw, I’m Asian and I live in NJ. Does being Asian hurts my chances tbh as I heard? My cousins got in to the school tho.

I am not sure how the admission process works but any info would be of great help. Thank you.

School of Pharmacy, Class of 2018’s GPA and SAT averages are 4.05 and 2200, respectively. I think you’re on the right track. Your extracurriculars sound good. GPA should be great considering you’ve received all A’s. Just make sure you get a high SAT score. Being asian may hurt your chances (I’ve seen those articles…stupid affirmative action), but don’t worry about that. Just try your best  There are tons of asians at Rutgers, including me, and I hope you join us. Good luck!

Rutgers pharm doesn’t care about AP scores AFAIK; you only get to use 8 AP credits (2 classes) if you get into pharm anyways. For srs I swear they just care about SAT scores. I had a bad GPA (3.4 unweighted) albeit with mostly AP classes (so difficulty of classes might matter). Had a 1470/1600 (when writing didnt count) and I think that’s how I got in lol.

Also don’t think they care about extracuriculars too much as I had none that were pharmacy related lol. So yeah just SAT and GPA.
