I have been looking into the University of Arizona and wanted to know my chances of getting in being an instate student. My freshman year I maintained a gpa between 3.5-3.8, but my sophomore year and junior didn’t go as well, my average gpa for freshman-junior year is about 2.8. http://admissions.arizona.edu/freshmen/admissions-decisions says that “Students may earn admission to UA through the Assured Admission process if they are an Arizona resident, attend a regionally accredited high school, rank in the top 25 percent of their graduating class, and have no course work deficiencies as prescribed by the Arizona Board of Regents.” However, “Some programs or colleges may require additional application information and/or admission requirements.”

I have three deficiencies in two courses right now, I am retaking one of them online this semester and retaking the other two next semester. Should I wait to apply? I don’t know how the application process will work, do I let admissions know in my app that I am retaking these two courses in the spring semester?
