I’m currently a High School senior in the process of applying to colleges. I’m interested in majoring in Accountancy, but I do have an alternative option if I do not get into the Mendoza School of Business. Here are my stats:
9th grade- Band, French 2 H, Physical Science H, Algebra II H, Biology H, English H
10th grade- Band, French 3 H, Chemistry H, Anatomy and Physiology H, Algebra 3 CP, English H, History H
11th grade- Band, French 4 H, Precalculus H, AP Chemistry, AP European History, AP English
12th grade- Band H, French 5 H, AP Calculus AB, AP English, AP Biology, Physics H
I took pretty much the most rigorous courses available at my high school- with the exception of Calculus BC. Will it hurt my chances that being ahead 2 years in math, I fell behind in 10th grade? Also, I was set on the science track, but then changed my mind this year. Will that show lack of interest in the topic I plan to major in?
SAT: 2040, 1320 combined (3rd time)
ACT: 29
Unfortunately, my writing score was the highest and my Critical Reading and Math do not add up to much. I took the ACT last minute without studying to see if it would be better than my SAT.
I got a 3 on my AP European Test, but I plan do take 3 more this Spring.
GPA: 3.97 unweighted
