Be honest please and also try to give advice. Thank you.

Is the 3.98 weighted or unweighted? If unweighted solid, if not maybe try and raise it up a tad if possible. Also I would try and get those predicted SAT scores up, you still got a month of summer ;)

Oh then your set GPA wise, I’d try to get the SAT up higher if you can man, and with that GPA you should be able to.

in if your SATs go up

When you say “in if your SATs go up” what do you mean?

Like to where my predicted SAT scores are (1780-1840) or should I be aiming even higher? If so how high?

I think you have a strong chance right now due to your impressive gpa and some ap classes as well, with some extracurriculars. Study up for the SAT some more and try to get 1250 - 1300 in the Math/Reading sections of the SAT since UW still doesn’t care about the writing section at all. As soon as you get your SAT scores finished, apply ASAP. UW does rolling admissions, and it was very evident last year that those who applied earlier had a much higher chance of getting in than those who waited until the final deadline. Also, write strong essays (the personal statement and diversity essay prompts are the same every year, so you can get started on those now if you want), and I think you’re in good shape.

Thank you. I knew that the UW didn’t care much for the writing section of the SAT but I didn’t know they worked on rolling admissions. :)

Anyone else?

Oh, yah I do hold a leader position at my church…

bump

UW doesn’t care about the writing section? I just became happy
