What are my chances of getting into the University of Washington.

What are my chances of getting into the University of Washington. (I'm entering my senior year.)

First Generation
State Resident (Washington)
Race: Asian Male
UW GPA: 3.98
W GPA: 4.33
AP: Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, Language and Composition, Literature and Composition
Rank: 7 (top 2%)

SAT
620 math, 500 reading, 540 writing

During the summer I studied and so far my scores are looking like this:

630-640 Math, 580-600 reading, 580-600 writing
SAT: 1780-1840

(Also all my subscores for my SATs fall right in the middle, if not slightly higher, of the middle of the 50% of scores for UW. Is that good or should I be aiming even higher, 75% range?

Be honest please and also try to give advice. Thank you.

good gpa… depends on rigor of previous classes… like fresh/soph. raise SAT, extracurrics= good. so yeah raise SAT and I would say you’re in.

You’re in for sure. I had basically the same stats as you (literally, 3.9ish gpa and number 7 of my class) and I thought I wouldn’t get in with my SAT score (1760) but I still got in, and early too. Just make sure to take decent classes during your senior year.

you’re more in than the kids that already go there buddy!
i wouldn’t worry about your SAT even.
pay another 45 bucks and improve it if you want, but with your dope EC’s and grades, you’ve got a reeeeally good chance.

haha, it’s kids like you that make kids like me worry about not even getting into state…

You’ll be fine even with that SAT score. I know kids who were accepted with 3.9 GPAs and 1500 SATs.
