Hello,

I am currently a rising senior in highschool from Massachusetts.
Ethnicity : Chinese
My list is :
Northeastern University EA
BU ED
UMASS Amherst

UC Irvine
UCLA (Im pretty sure im not getting in)
HKUST
City University of Hong Kong
Hong Kong Polytechnic University
(HK schools for the lols, but I do want to live in HK later in life)

I have 8 AP classes by the end of senior year
3 Chem, 2 English, 2 Calc AB (N/A) BC, (N/A) Envisci, 2 Physics 1, (N/A) Comp Sci, and (N/A) Econ
SAT II Chem 600
Math II :600
Extracurricular:
150~ hours of community service
100 of those hours are from teaching little kids at Chinese school.
50 of those hours are from passing food out to homeless people (bread of life).
Co-founder of gaming club
Co-founder of chess club
1 year of track
1 year of robotics club
member of the Asian Club
internship at a Chemical Engineering place

GPA: 3.8 W 3.3 UW
ACT: 24
I plan on retaking my ACTs and I think I can achieve at most a 28.
My brother is also attending Northeastern, and I can get a great recommendation from my guidance councilor and 2 other teachers (also the owner of the Chem En place).

Based on posted information, UCI/UCLA are not a happening with your GPA and ACT score. Are you able to afford the $55K/year cost with little to no financial aid? You need around a 28+ ACT for UCI and 31+ for UCLA. Also uW GPA is very low for both schools. Average for UCI: 3.9 Average for UCLA: 4.0

If I can get my ACT score to a 28 how would that affect my chances?
