Hi everyone! I am a current high school senior and am wondering what my chances of getting into certain colleges are. I am a student at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at UNT. Here is some of my academic information:
GPA: 4.0 unweighted (at old HS and at TAMS, where I take university level courses)
ACT: 36 composite, 35 Math, 35 Science, 35 English, 34 Reading
SAT Bio M: 800
SAT Math II: 800
Extracurriculars:
Band & Marching Band- Made Texas ATSSB All-State Band, 2-time Division I in TX State Solo & Ensemble
Participated in a neuroscience research lab with a professor with a PhD
Am part of the UNT’s Residence Hall Association as a Director of Development for one of the residence halls
I am a TAMS Senior Mentor - I live with the junior class of TAMS and provide academic, social, and personal advice
Aspire Mentorship and Broadcom - mentor middle school students on developing science fair projects to compete in local and (hopefully) national science fairs
Tutoring - I used to work at Dynamic Instruction, where I was a teaching assistant and taught students reading/writing material for the STAAR test; I was later hired
Freshman/Sophomore Executive - Plan school/cultural activities
Volunteering:
Dynamic Instruction - 86 hours, 10 weeks/8.5 hours per week
UNT RHA - 10 hours
Aspire Mentorship and Broadcom - 20 hours, 10 weeks/2 hours per week
