Hi everyone! I am a current high school senior and am wondering what my chances of getting into certain colleges are. I am a student at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at UNT. Here is some of my academic information:

TAMS Senior Mentor
Co-Secretary - Sophomore Executive

Awards/Honors:

Texas State Solo and Ensemble Division I (2-time recognition)
National Honors Society
Sociedad Honoraria de Hispánica
UNT President’s Award (maintain 4.0 GPA)
3-time recipient of district fine arts award (district recognition)
Superintendent Scholars Award (Score in top 100 sophomores on PSAT in my district)
Pride of the Pack award - Outstanding leadership and achievement in my high school

The colleges I am applying to or have applied to include:
UT Austin, UT Dallas, Cornell, Rice, Vanderbilt, Stanford, Harvard, Duke, Johns Hopkins, and Northwestern.

Thank you for the feedback everyone!

A 4.0 GPA at TAMS will likely get you admitted into at least one top tier Ivy, i.e. HSYPM. From experience, Stanford, MIT, and Columbia accept more students from TAMS than any other Ivy/Ivy-tiered college. This is all assuming you are doing/excelling at SOMETHING else besides your GPA.

You seem fine. Don’t worry. Also I noticed you’re an URM (is that what Sociedad Honoraria de Hispánica means?). Even more fine lol.

I literally can’t think of a resume more impressive than yours, maybe Stanford and Harvard is hard just because they are Stanford and Harvard but everywhere else has no reason to not accept you.

as long as your essays are compelling and showcase more personality (to demonstrate you’re not a cookie cutter student), you’re in!

you have an excellent academic resume as well as good extracurriculars. you have a good chance anywhere!!
