Intended majors: business or comp sci

Ecs are a little scattered, in writing the application try to make a story out of your ECs. Besides that good. For business UCB and Michigan are fairly difficult, so those are low chances no matter who you are. Besides that, pretty good odds.

You are a very competitive applicant for all of these schools. If you get a 1500+ on the SAT, that is great. Write amazing essays and you could get accepted to any of these colleges

If you can do well on the SAT this weekend, you have a very good chance of getting into UT, NYU and Michigan. You will very likely get into all the mid-tier UC’s, but because you’re out of state, you’ll probably be accepted to either Berkeley or UCLA. Good luck.

Your parents can pay for the out of state public schools?

Important tip: stay in top 6% if you want to get into UT for sure

However, automatic admission to the campus does not necessarily mean admission to a competitive major like CS or business at UT Austin.

I almost hate to bring this up, but no AP Calculus? You should have it for CS or business, stats without calculus is a red flag to adcoms to the schools you’re applying.

I’m taking AP Calc next year

For UMich, keep your GPA up. Your ACT is fine. Their overall admission rate would be near 20% this year and OOS admission rate in the teens. Your projected stat is above average of OOS applicants. Ross (their business school) is very competitive. You need to prepare a portfolio to apply. You should start looking into it to see if you can shape your application better by the end of the year.

Does anybody here go to a trimester school? it seems like we might be getting lower stats of grades when the convert on the UC app. 4.17 ( most you an get at tri is a 4.25). mostly AP classes including physics, Calculus in addition to an A in college Calc 3. ACT 33 . Sports, 300 cs hours in which I was the leader of the program I started at my school.Put on wait list at UC’s and Cal poly.

Are your parents able and willing to pay $60,000+ /year for a UC?
