<p>I live in California. I just ended my sophomore year, and I did not do as well as I had expected. My GPAs for 1st semester and 2nd semester were 3.4 and 3.3. I play a lot of sports, is in the newspaper club, and is junior class presidentI am really worried that I might not get into UCSD. So, what are my chances of getting into UCSD?</p>

<p>Umm… you still have time. Since your GPA isn’t as hot as it should be I recommend taking maybe some AP’s in which you could do well. Rack up those A’s for Junior year or you will not get in!! I had a 3.8 (scholar athlete) when I applied and I got rejected… Study hard for your SAT’s ahead of time… like start soon.</p>
<p>Yeah, next year, I’m taking 2 AP courses and 2 honors and I’ve also started studying for the SATs. What score do you think I would need for USD?</p>
<p>the higher the better… if i was you i would aim for 2000. It would significantly boost your chances of getting in… i would think…</p>
