Hello everyone,

I am a junior in high school considering her options for college. UGA is one of my top choices.

Last fall, my GPA was 4.4 and I was ranked 49 out of a class of 459. That year, I made a 96 in Chemistry I, a B in Geometry, a 98 in French III Honors, a 93 in AP World History (and a 4 on the exam), and a 91 in English III Honors. My school uses a 7 point grading scale. I am taking AP English IV in the spring, and I plan on taking AP Biology I and AP Psychology next fall.

I was in an all girls honor-level choir last year and this year I am in a mixed honors choir.

Last year, I was inducted into the National Honors Society as well as the National French Honors Society. This year I am serving as the Community Liaison for the French Honors Society.

My extra curricular activities include participating in my church choir, French Club, taking musical theatre dance classes, voice lessons, and piano lessons. This summer I participated in an honorarium at my community theatre. I volunteer at least 15 hours every year working at my church's Greek Festival.

The "feathers in my cap" that I have are 3 years of a summer program, the Tri-District Arts Consortium, in the area of creative writing, a national publishing in a youth poetry anthology, and a full-ride scholarship to Hellenic College in Boston for winning first place in my church's oratorical festival. I took Digital Imaging and Fashion Merchandising last year and once I take Digital Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising II, I will be a Marketing Completer at my school district's technology center.

In terms of my majoring interests, I am all over the map. I am highly considering Biochemistry or Microbiology. My other interests include the arts field, with vocals, theatre, photography and visual arts. I also love French and plan on taking AP French Five next year and taking the exam. Marketing and digital design are some of my other interests.

Any input would be very appreciated! Thank you so much for your time.
