What are my chances of getting into University of Chicago?

I have a weighted GPA of 4.43 (on 5.0 scale) unweighted of 3.8 on since I take a bunch of honors classes. I still have another semester to get my gpa up so we'll see. I am in math team, science olympiad, poetry club, anime club, book club, i play the violin, Peer Leadership and I volunteer at a elderly residence where I read to the residents and i host game night. I so far have a ACT score of a 27 but I hope to improve that. 29 english, 28 math, 26 reading, and 25 science. 9 on the writing portion. I took three AP classes last semester but I take 2 now and i honors class. I plan to take AP Pychology, AP Lit, AP Calculus, and Spanish honors, and physics regular. I am planning on taking subject tests next month and either shadowing my dad (an oncologist) for the summer or doing some lab class. Do i have any chance of getting in? I am planning on doing early action

It doesn’t appear that there’s anything that sets you apart. But, with that being said, don’t let that deter you. Improve the ACT and demonstrate a driven and motivated image via an extra curricular that you’ve taken to a deeper level.

I agree with the poster above me. I think to get into a school like U Chicago, you have to be something different. Maybe in your essays you can accentuate your individuality, but based solely on your statistics, it’s not looking good mate. Possibly a 50 50 chance.

Well if i move up my ACT score and get really involved in this movement im in for Syria and write about it in my essay do you think that can help?
