I'm currently going to Northern Virginia Community College and I am in my second semester here. I plan to transfer next semester to UVA and I have already begun my common app.

My GPA for my first semester in college was 3.66 and this semester I plan to make a 4.0
My GPA for High School was a 3.55
My SAT score was a 1620 which I took in Junior year of High School.
I took a 4 APs: AP World History, AP US History, AP Physics, and AP Calculus: which I dropped halfway through senior year.

Throughout high school I took tough classes and maintained good grades, except for senior year where I slacked off and only took English, Government, AP Physics, and Weightlifting.

I was only in two clubs in high school which were Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the Muslim Student Association, I held no officer positions.

I wrestled at the JV level for junior year and was a Varsity starter my senior year in which I placed 4th in the district championships.

I have also been practicing and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for almost five years. I am a 6-time Gold medalist in various tournaments across the region. I have also been training Muay Thai kickboxing for two years, additionally I help professional fighters during their fight camps as a sparring partner. So a great deal of my time goes into my martial arts.

I also work during the weekends at a local grocery store.

I know I am weak in the academic field, but I hope I could make up in my extracurriculars and write some stellar essays. What are my chances, if any, and how could I possibly increase my odds of getting in?
