Hey guys... I recently applied to NYU Stern as a transfer for the fall and I am nervously awaiting my decision. I was wondering if anyone can please chance me and give me some idea.

I go to a non-popular four year college in Connecticut. My freshman GPA was some where around a 3.67 and my sophomore GPA so far is a 3.92. My EC's are pretty good. They include habitat for humanity, philosophy club, intramural football, and a summer job. I put my summer job as the most important because I was running my own painting company with a partner. My title was foreman and head of marketing and we made over 25,000 dollars in a couple of months. I mentioned that in my app. I also have a lot of EC's from high school that I mentioned which include tutoring, sports, clubs, and much more. My recs are also very good. I have a rec from Connecticut's state district attorney, my dean, my assistant dean, and a math professor of mine. They all talked me up a lot and said I am in the top 1% they encountered. For my personal statement, I believe it to be a strong facet of my app. I spent a lot of time on it and it was edited by pretty much a genius in my family. I also have every pre-requisite done except for calculus done which I hope doesn't hurt my chances.

So that's pretty much it. I hope someone can help me out? Thank you for your time.

No one can tell you for sure, but you have a good a chance as anybody else.

Did you apply for sophomore entry last year? I’m a Class of 2014 transfer applicant.

No, this is my first time applying to NYU. I am a second semester sophomore right now.

I know no one knows for sure but I still want some one who is familiar with the admission process to chance me quickly. Pleaseeee
