What are my chances? (Pepperdine, Baylor, SMU)

Hi guys! I’m crazy and I applied to 20 schools. I got into 7 so far, and waitlisted at 4, including my fartherest reach. I was stupid and applied to a ton of colleges I didnt really want to go to. The only schools I want to go to are Pepperdine, Fordham, Baylor, SMU and Gonzaga. I have been waitlisted to SMU and Gonzaga, and I am currently on the waitlist for both. What are my chances of getting admitted to any of them? I applied as a Political Science Major with the exception of Fordham, a television major lol

Here are my stats

GPA: 4.43
ACT: 26 (super embarrassing, I’m not the best test taker)

Rank: 51/480 (so mad used to be in the top 10)
EC’s:
-Volunteering at a local non profit
-an associate producer on a morning show,
-a graphics designer at the same station of the morning show is on,

  • Co founded, designed and marketed a pop up business (escape rooms)
  • Part time caretaker and ABA trained for my brother with severe autism
  • Did after school art curriculum and teaching for disadvantaged kids for 2 years
  • Helped Organize free photo Xmas photo sessions for underprivileged families 3 years in a row
  • Did perform and Tech in musical theatre, Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Year
  • NHS junior and senior year
  • Basketball freshman year
  • Went to state in culinary in sophomore year (skills usa)

In october, I left regular public school for medical reasons, and wrote my essay about this.
I had to drop all of my aps, (still stayed in honors), but I still have an incomplete for last semester, and on my midyear transcript Almost done though! Straight A’s so far!

I’ve been dreaming of getting into one of these schools, it is not the end of the world though, ive gotten into plenty of schools, gotten a combined total of 350,000 in scholarships, including an almost full ride.

3.33 GPA (my school doesnt weight gpas)
1100 sat - 600 english, 500 math
4 APś and 3 honors classes
Really strong Essays, ECś, and Recs

Have you thought about an in-state university? Right now there’s a recession. It would suck if you went to one of these expensive schools and one of your parents got laid off and you had to transfer.

@coolguy40 we are still doing fine financially, both parents are still working. my instate schools suck sadly. got waitlisted at smu, baylor and fordham. rejected at pepperdine. was accepted off the waitlist at gonzaga and will be committing to gonzaga in a few days.

@coolguy40 i applied to unlv. they gave me no financial aid or scholarship. it would be cheaper for me to go literally anywhere else lol. why it was so expensive? i have no idea
