What are my chances? Please reply!

I go to a pretty comptetitive private high school in Indiana.

I have about a 3.8 unweighted GPA, maybe a little higher. I can't remember what it is weighted, but it's over a 4.0. I have taken and am taking the hardest classes my school offers. Last year I took AP Human Geography and AP World History and got 5's on both. This year I am taking AP Biology. Next year I'll take AP Calculus, Government, English, and U.S. History, and maybe one or two more AP classes that I can't remember right now.

My school doesn't rank its students anymore.

On the PSAT, I scored a 75 on critical reading, an 80 on math (math is boring), and a 78 on writing, for a total of 233. I will be a National Merit semifinalist next year. For the sake of this discussion, I'm going to assume that my SAT scores will be equivalent (even though that's sometimes not the case).

My extracurriculars are pretty good. I am on my school's Brain Game team (quiz bowl or jeopardy type thing). I am involved in theater. I helped start a Progressive political society (we're doing a really cool project involving education and socioeconomic status) and I'm working on an Amnesty International group. I'm also in the Latin club, Math League, and a couple other clubs that aren't very active.

I volunteer pretty regularly.

I am thinking about a couple Ivy League schools (probably Brown and Princeton), as well as the University of Chicago, Georgetown, the University of Virginia, and maybe Wisconsin.

What do you think my chances are at these schools?

bump.............

bumpbumpbump

Schools like Brown and Princeton are reaches for everyone. U Chicago, probably even Georgetown, would be looking good if that 233 PSAT turned into a 2330 SAT! UVA and UW look like matches. Good luck and keep exploring.

thanks/bump.
