Hello, everyone! I'm new here, and I hope this post finds you well and if you're a student, doing well with your finals :)

So, score wise, I'm kinda all over the board. I have about a 3.5 GPA and weighted around 3.8. ACT, 33. National Merit Semi-Finalist. SAT, unknown to date. Scores are out on the 23, I believe.
So, I have a scholarship to my current private high school, number 18 in the nation for private day schools! Honestly, it has been one of the best experiences of my life. However, I went from being number 1 at my old school to in about the top 20% at my new one. It is very difficult and I average around 4 to 5 hours of homework a night.
My GPA is something to ponder. From Freshman year to mid Junior, I had some INTENSE family issues, a lot of which I've explained in my personal statements to colleges. Life was difficult to say the least, but once all of that end, my GPA elevated, going from an average of 3.4 every quarter to a now 4.3 every quarter since, with harder classes than ever before.
I've taken 3 AP exams, scoring a 4 on all of them. I will be taking 6 (two self study) in May.
I am mixed, and am Native American (registered), Hispanic, and African American. I usually identify as multi-racial and am fluent in Spanish.
I have applied to the following schools:
GTech
Emory
UChicago
Grinnell
University of Mississippi (Honors College)

I will find out about UChicago and Honors at UM next week. I would like to apply to a few more schools just to have some options. I want small colleges (not really into public universities) but near big cities with a diverse student population (diverse in many aspects). Also, colleges that have holistic application reviews and can perhaps grasp my spastic scores. Also, something different from my Mississippi home.

Emory and UChicago are currently my top schools, Emory more so than UChicago. Thank you guys so much for reading this jumble of a post and please drop ANY advice you may have. I don't really have the resources to talk about any of this with anyone else so any words would be of use. :) Happy Holidays!
