<p>alright so i want to apply to stony brook this year but im unaware if ill get in or not. my grades aren't amazing but are as follows:
GPA: 92.19 (i don't know how to convert to the 4.0 scale.)
SAT scores: Reading 510
Math:590
Writing:570 Although i don't think im going to submit this test.
My ACT scores on the other hand are:
English:25
Reading 23
Math 28
Science 30
Composite:27
I will be taking both tests one more time.
My extracurriculars include:
JV/Vasity math league for 2 years
JV/Varsity Handball for 3 years with a coach's award and MVP
Asian Club
Chess Club
Intramural Sports
Volunteering 3 hours a week for 25 weeks at an afterschool program for 2 years
And 150+ hours volunteering at a summer program for 1 year</p>
<p>I apply to the engineering school? Does anyone think my chances would be good? i know it's competitive but i want to give it a shot. thanks!</p>
