<p>Well Stony brook is definitely the school i want to go to and im about to send everything out this week.</p>
<p>Here are my grades:
I go to a private school
My Sat Score was a 1670
560 Math 560 Reading 550 Writing
My GPA is about a 3.59 or 89%
By the end of this year i will have:
4 Years of English
4 Years of math including AP Pre-Cal
4 Years of History
3 Years of Science
1 Year of Economics
5 Years worth of foreign language
And 4 years worth of other ad-on classes like Theology
I will have taken all my regents and get a advanced regents diploma
I have volunteered working in a medical office, and i help my school out a lot.</p>
<p>So someone let me know if i have a good shot of being accepted into Stony. thanks.</p>
<p>According to the website, the requirements are basically minimum 1120. . . I've seen people get in with lower SAT's and lower GPA's too . . .so you never know. I guess you really have to prove to the school that you really want to go . . . Essays and junk I guess. Make sure you have enough extra curricular's throughout your high school year- not just last minute. I am not 100% sure if you could get in, but providing you have a good essay, lots of ec's and a few AP classes then you have a shot.</p>
<p>Thanks for your help, where exactly do you show the school that your involved in extra curriculars? Does my councilor put them on my transcript? </p>
<p>As far as the essay ive shown it to a lot of people and they have told me that it is very good, and this year i am taking only one AP class.</p>
<p>No i actually used the SUNY Application. But i think they ask you about them in the Supplemental application. If im correct then ill just put all the things i did in there.</p>
