Well....the alumni "interview" really doesn't have much of an effect on your admission decision and it doesn't mean you're a strong or weak candidate if you had (or didn't have) an interview. Read the numerous thread on this topic.

On the other hand..your essays are important (especially for CALS)...so if they really as good as you say then that will certainly help you.

i read "acing the common app." by a former admissions officer at Dartmouth and she wrote that alumni interviews (or any interview) would only give you a slight advantage over those who have not had one.

Any SAT II's?
edit read above and saw that you didn't take any SAT II's
There is no reason for Cornell not to think that your school has either a)crazy grade inflation or b)very easy.

yes, but i didn't send them or else my SAT I score wouldve went with it. US history and biology m both 670 ( so not that great).

Cornell (at least they claim to do this) takes the highest score (SAT or ACT), so I think it would have been (or if u still can) to send your SAT II's (which are fine) to show what you have learned.

well i already did ED so its too late to send them now :S thanks for the advice though, i will probably do that if i apply to other schools (Hopefully, i won't have to and i can relax after December 15th)

Yeah, possibly earlier -- i just read it
good luck to you too
